Today book fairs are well-known to most people in rural and urban areas. A book fair is an exhibition of dozens of interesting books. Every year many book fairs take place in different parts of the country.

National days such as 21 February, 16 December, 26 March and New Year’s book fairs are planned. Two major book exhibitions held in our country are Ekushey Boi Mela and Dhaka Boi Mela.

Book fair is very popular. Students can purchase their favorite books. They can also meet their favorite writers. This year I visited a book fair organized by Bangla Academy on the 21st of February.

Various publishing houses rent stables. Many types of required topics are available there. All kinds of books such as drama, novel, poetry, travel, translation are often available.

New writers often edit interview editors in their new books. Conferences and cultural program organizers are also being held at the exhibition.

In fact, books are best friends and the book fair only gives us opportunities to search for books in a good collection. If we can organize a moral book fair, the exhibition will be a success.

In one corner of the exhibition guests can find a few stalls selling typical Bangladeshi snacks. Book fairs are a good and successful business.
